Katekyo Hitman Reborn review

             Katekyo hitman reborn, is a REALLY fun read so far, i am still immensely enjoying it. the plot is 

well played, the suspense is great and the character development is in depth. recently in the story the family 

of the Tsunayoshi, or "the tenth mafia boss" and his mafia family have traveled to the future without immediate means of returning home. they soon find out they were sent there for 2 reasons: to bring their mafia Vongola rings to the future, as well as to train their fighting skill so they can fight another mafia family leader who goes by the name Byakuran. Byakuran is trying to obtain all the Volgola rings and join them with his family rings, the mare rings, and these other items. these items were said in the story to have taken part in the creation of the world. Once he obtains them all, his goal is to destroy and rule the world, like a god. the tenth and his family must stop Byakuran at all costs. he is an evil, evil person.

                 This poem, song and video fit together in my eyes well. the all resemble the terror and sadness of war. The song represents this in the line: "no one could outrun the crash. it was all reduced to rubble, then again to ash". The video plainly displays the horror of war in the constant death and danger. The poem is all about the awefullness of war, for example: "War is brothers fighting, war is bombs exploding, war is crying mothers, War is bodies floating." War is plainly displayed in these. War is just terrible.

Book review

        So far i have read about half of the hobbit, part of the comic spawn, which i have stopped reading, and i am currently ready about 9 on-going manga. i read chapters of these weekly to monthly. basically whenever a new chapter is released. there are 2 manga that i had to stop reading because they have not been translated fully from Japanese to English.

I enjoyed all of these, except for spawn. I did not enjoy it. 

In class i am reading "Katekyo Hitman Reborn!". so far i am really liking it.

                My favorite quote from the hobbit so far is Gollums famous saying, the one everyone who has heard this story knows, "My preciousssss..."  this is said all over the story of the hobbit, and in the tales of the lord of the rings. it has emotion, feeling, and mood in the line. it is truly a great quote. 

Spawn comic

Spawn comic #1

                I have taken a break from reading "the hobbit", and have started reading the comic book named spawn.  it was fairly interesting at first, though being a christian it was a little odd to read. it is about a man named Al Simmons, who made a deal with the devil and was returned to life as a hell spawn. the story is very deep and involves many people. some of which are good, some are bad, and some are neutral. the character conflicts involve person vs self / nature/ and others. this is a read that was well put together and has  been read by many people. I had to stop reading the book, because as i said im a christian, but i did read a few chapters of it. a good read but not my kind of read. 

the hobbit review 3

                  So far in the story the group of dwarves and hobbit and wizard have been casually traveling along with mostly no problems. they came and left the elf village and so on. the soon were captured by Orcs while resting in a cave (one that seemed almost to perfect) this was quite an exiting scene with good description like how Gandalf was said to have struck down a series of goblins at once

 with a flash of brilliant light.soon the story picked up allot leading into Bilbos encounter with Golem and the famous ring we all know of; the ring of power. Bilbo's encounter with Golem was frightening indeed and was certainly fun to read.

The hobbit: conflict.

                    The protagonist Bilbo Baggins has many conflicts. so far he has had conflict with friends like when they all barged into his house. he has also had conflict with nature, when they were fighting 3 great trolls who put them through great grief. Bilbo has also had much conflict with himself. he has 2 sides to him. the well kept Bilbo Baggins, and the adventurous Bilbo took. he find himself sum times wanting to be one more than the other (in a way), and it adds an interesting feeling to the story.

The Hobbit

                 This story is the prequel to the "lord of the rings" series. it takes place in the same scene and focuses on the famous Bilbo baggins. the story start off with bilbo in his hobbit hole, when he is visited by Gandalf. Gandalf talked to Bilbo for a while and ends up bothering him quite a bit (hobbits don't like adventurous people or subjects). the next day Gandalf shows up with many dwarves and they all pretty much push their way into Bilbo's home and eventually proceed to organize an adventure somehow involving Bilbo...

Aqua (2)

            The next  book in the series, still takes place on Aqua (the terraformed mars), and still follows the "undines" on their works to become professionals. there are some silly points and some dramatic points. this was an interesting read, but unfortunately i cannot continue reading the story as of now. the rest of the series is still in its raw Japanese format and might not be translated for a while. 

rating of manga 9/10. (would be 10/10 but the rest is not translated with the 2 that already are)

                                                                        Aqua 1

                 the First book i read was book one of the series "aqua". It is a manga about a girl who wishes to become an "undine" on the recently teraformed planet of mars which is now named aqua due to the fact of it being moslty covered in water. and "undine" is basicly a lady who rows a gondala boat and gives tours. the story takes place in "New Venice" which is a remake of Venice italy.
